Wow, it’s been a busy and exciting week. Last Saturday, I was invited to go see Taylor Swift perform at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Being a native New Yorker we don’t like to travel much to the Garden State…..so I was a little apprehensive. I’m not much of a country music fan either BUT I will say that Taylor, in this era of no talent auto-tune booty shakers, Ms. Swift delivered the goods.

I was lucky enough to meet Taylor, who off-stage was so prim and proper she could have been auditioning for the Ms. America pageant. She was a gracious host greeting me with a kiss. It is when Taylor took the stage that she seems most comfortable, whipping her hair harder than Willow Smith. Taylor connects with her fans (mostly young teenage girls) and wears her heart on her sleeve. The highlight of the evening was when she paid homage to New Jersey song writer Jon Bon Jovi singing “Living on a Prayer”! I’m officially a Taylor Swift fan!
