It is clear this season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga has a target on her back with fans of the show calling for her to be fired. The level of Twitter chatter is out of control. There are polls, memes, and profiles all dedicated to her demise.
Melissa Gorga joined the show in its third season and quickly became a fan favorite which seemed to annoy sister in-law, RHONJ star Teresa Guidice. Their beef goes back years, Teresa blaming Melissa for putting a strain on her relationship with brother Joe Gorga. Joe Gorga and Teresa’s ex-husband Joe Guidice famously got into a brawl at baby Joe Gorga’s christening. Years have passed but the family feud continues.
Teresa and Joe Guidice went to prison (at separate times) and have since divorced. While Teresa was “away,” Melissa and Joe Gorga filmed with Joe Guidice and daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana to help keep the show going. Melissa claims that she put “food on their table” was enough to start World War Three. Teresa insist if it weren’t for her, Melissa would be nowhere.
Teresa went as far as excluding Melissa and Joe from her wedding to Louie Ruelas. She later invited Melissa to be a bridesmaid, Melissa declined. It appears as if Teresa is trying to ice Joe and Melissa Gorga out of the picture. I could be wrong, but it comes across as if a newly married Teresa feels like she doesn’t need anyone else and is being protected by her so-called “love bubble.” However, as we all know bubbles eventually tend to burst. I reached out to Melissa to ask if she agreed with my assessment. She responded, “You hit the nail right on the head!” Boom!
