If you haven’t already seen it, go ASAP! “Rise of the Apes,” directed by Rupert Wyatt is set in present day San Francisco and explains how the Apes ultimately will come to power and will eventually rule over the human race. A scientist with a BIG heart, played by James Franco (dreamy) takes in a baby chimpanzee named Caesar when things go awry at the lab where he is working on a cure for Alzheimer’s. Baby Caesar (so cute), quickly develops and out grows his home in the attic. He can no longer coexist as he attacks and bites off a neighbors finger in an act of protection and defense. Without giving away too much of the plot, Caesar is sent bye bye and all hell breaks loose. Caesar who will become a fierce warrior has a conscience and is very lovable, you want him to succeed! “Rise of the Apes” has plenty of action, thrills and special effects…I definitely recommended it and I’m looking forward to the next installment.
